If you feel confident or have previous design experience but need a helping hand to get started or don't have the time to start a website from scratch I provide free XHTML & CSS templates for anyone to download. Also if you are starting out designing your own websites these can used to learn how I personally design each template.

Each templates has been tested in the following browsers to check they display correctly:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer.
  • Mozilla Firefox.
  • Netscape.
  • Opera.

As well as cross browser compatibility each template has also been tested against the W3C Validator to check for correct markup.

I get many emails regarding the removal of the link on my templates - I charge a small fee of £10GBP. This allows you to use the template as you wish without the a link to tristar web design. This can be made via the paypal button below.

TEMPEST

I decided to create a template that had a vertical menu instead of a horizontal one but it also has a sub menu option. Dark grey with a minty green.

AMNESIA

I had great success with a similar design in the past, so this is kind of a second version of that template. Easy to edit and implement.

TRANQUILITY

I decided to create a liquid layout - meaning that if the browser size is changed the width of the template will adjust accordingly. It allows you to easily set the width that you want using the CSS styling.

ELEMENTS

Only two images have been used to create this template. I wanted to see how well just CSS styling could be used to create a simple template that will be easy to implement - I also wanted to design a modern looking template.

SIMPLICITY

Here's a simple (hence the name) and minimalist design - Easy to edit and change to your own colours as there aren't any graphical images. If your looking for an easy template to get a website for you up and running then look no further.

TRANSMISSION

Almost certainly one of my most popular designs - It's a centred design both horizontally and vertically. A modern layout created using valid xhtml markup & css. The image is customisable and all colours & text can be changed to suit your needs.

GATHERING

I personally like this, to me its very clean & modern in terms of colours and layout. Not one for an absolute beginner as there is quite a lot of css code and xhtml markup - I hope you like it.

JUDGEMENT

Ok here's a stylish template for you budding designers. I decided to go for a sleek light green and dark grey design. Although I am not a big fan of small text I felt that the 'Verdana' font looks nice at that size and adds to the modern design - Enjoy!

HORIZON

Another quite complex design - Also another vertical menu and a nice image of the beautiful Bugatti Veyron =)
